Cabin Kitchen Rennovation

Another hurried MDF cupboard nightmare has been replaced by a thoughtfully put together kitchen which combines bold lines and iconic utilities with antique washed techniques.





The robust but modest Baby Belling now sits comfortably among the units and is sunk into the worktop, the colour scheme mirroring the black and white of the oven's enamel and dial.



The classic Belfast Sink has been exposed to show of its curves with the cupboard whitewash in keeping with age of the sink.



Retaining these these familiar mid twentieth century utilities is complemented by the industrial detailing of other period items that sit in the cabin.

Reclaimed Garden Furniture

So, the South London Lounge Project left the owner with a lot of these:


Some of them needed a bit of cleaning up as you can see:




And now, they are enjoying a new lease of life in their garden:



Who'd have thought they'd still be having their breakfast off it in October!

This will not be going anywhere, because I used loads and loads of these:

Bathroom with Bespoke Bath Panel

This is what it was taken back to:
Then installed a new bath, toilet, shower with bespoke bath panel:


The panel is from different widths of timber and is removable.

As you can see, I haven't got round to staining or painting it yet.



Here's the new sink and tap. It's a kitchen tap really but fits in with the chunky wood and tile back that was designed to emulate a 60s English School Science Lab.

Lounge in South East London

Here is the lounge of a beautiful Victorian Semi which I rennovated. The old floor and windows were removed, rebuilt and finished to my usual high standard.


The floor is an 18mm brushed oak and the walls are Chiffon White 1.
